It wasn't easy...
Well, the Steelers got past the Colts Sunday night, and it wasn't easy. The Colts knew that they were dealing with a vulnerable offensive line in the Steelers, and they took advantage. The two defensive ends for the Colts, Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis caused havoc all night for Big Ben causing two fumbles, returning one of them for a touchdown. Steelers did take a big hit from an injury standpoint losing three starters- left tackle Jonathan Scott, right guard Doug Legursky, and right tackle Marcus Gilbert all left the game with injuries, and their availability is uncertain for Sundays game at Houston. The big question is still being asked, how is our O-line going to last if we're already this banged up 3rd game into the season? On a positive note wide receiver Mike Wallace had another outstanding game with a 81 yard touchdown catch and a total of 144 yards on the night. Pro bowl safety Troy Polomalu looks like the reigning Defensive player of the year again scoring a defensive touchdown on a James Harrison strip sack. Troy was in the Colt's backfield all night long, so as long as he stays healthy the Steelers defense should remain at the top of the heap...
